The First Hike of the Fall will be September 16 at 9am at Mt. Fitzgerald in Springdale: 2400 Deer Valley St, Springdale, 72762.

We’ve planned a morning hike to be mindful of the weather this time of year. We’ll be getting started before it gets too warm, and finished in time for the 6pm game that day.

Kristi Button will provide a devotional theme for the hike and others are invited to do the same for future hikes.

The trails here, according to Carol Van Sycoc, are very similar to those of Mt. Kessler.  They are intense for Mountain Bikers, but beginner to intermediate level for hikers.

As we conclude our 2 to 2.5 hour time of hiking we will consider lunching together, as an informal addition.

Future Hikes: Times and hike locations will vary. We will be looking for a leader of the next hike after this one.
