Cooperative Emergency Outreach (CEO) provides emergency assistance to residents of Washington, County, Arkansas who live south of the NWA Mall. CEO is located at 1649 Huntsville Rd. and is open Monday through Friday from 1:00 – 3:00 pm. All Client inquiries are handled in-person. Up to 15 clients are helped per day on a first come first served basis.
Supported by individual donations and by member churches, CEO is fully staffed by volunteers. First United Presbyterian Church was a founding member of, and continues to maintain a membership on the Board.
CEO is now located in a new, fully paid for, facility on Huntsville Road, one and a half miles east of South School Street, just west of Happy Hollow Road (MLK Blvd turns into Huntsville Road).
FUPC takes up an offering every other month for Cooperative Emergency, and invites members of the congregation to bring non-perishable food items especially those months to stock the CEO pantry. Volunteers are always needed to assist with the many tasks involved in serving the community.
Cooperative Emergency Outreach provides emergency assistance to residents of Washington County, AR, living in Fayetteville, Cane Hill, Elkins, Farmington, Greenland, Goshen, Lincoln, Prairie Grove, Summers, West Fork, and Winslow. CEO regrets that they are unable to serve clients living outside of this area.
