When a financial emergency occurs, whether due to illness, job loss, reduced income, natural disaster, or any other emergency, Cooperative Emergency Outreach (CEO) can help clients by providing:
- food items
- hygiene items
- clothing vouchers
- utility assistance
- rental assistance
- prescription vouchers
All client inquiries are handled in-person. Up to 15 clients are assisted per day on a first-come firstserved basis.
CEO operates in a fully paid-for facility at 1649 East Huntsville Road. This is one and a half miles east of South School Street in Fayetteville, just east of Happy Hollow Road (MLK Blvd turns into Huntsville Road).
CEO is open Monday through Friday 1:00 – 3:00 pm.
CEO provides emergency assistance to residents of Washington County, Arkansas, who live south of the NWA Mall. CEO regrets that they are unable to serve clients living outside of this area.
CEO is fully staffed by volunteers, mainly from member churches. Volunteers are always needed to assist with the many tasks involved in serving our community.
CEO is supported by member churches, businesses, and individuals. FUPC was a founding member of CEO in December 1989 and continues to maintain membership on the CEO Board of Directors.
