This year, Holy Week will look a little different at FUPC. Instead of gathering together for Maundy Thursday and Good Friday, we will be livestreaming those services. On Easter Sunday we will have an in-person, outdoor service, but our 11 a.m. service will be livestreamed. Even though we will not be able to gather together in person for our typical litany of services, our Worship Team will be working hard to help you create meaningful worship experiences in your own home.
The schedule for Holy Week this year is:
MAUNDY THURSDAY, GATHERING AROUND THE LORD’S TABLE (4/1): Livestreamed service at 6 p.m. Message: The Son of Man Will Be Handed Over To Be Crucified. We will share in communion from our tables at home this service.
GOOD FRIDAY, SERVICE OF SCRIPTURE, SONG, AND SILENCE (4/2): Livestreamed service at 6 p.m. Meditation: Into Your Hands, I Commit My Spirit.
EARLY SERVICE, EASTER SUNDAY, CHRIST IS RISEN (4/4): We will have an in person, outdoor worship service at 8:30 a.m. on Easter Sunday. We will share in communion at this service. Alternative time (in case of weather): 3:30 p.m.
LATE SERVICE, EASTER SUNDAY, CHRIST IS RISEN (4/4): Livestreamed service at 11 a.m. We will share in communion at this service.
Don’t forget to pick up your communion elements outside the Church Office on Wednesday, March 31 between 5:30 and 6:30 p.m.!
If you have any questions about this schedule, please reach out to us through the Church Office.
