First United Presbyterian Church is proud of our partnership with the Abrahamic Faiths Forum, a panel discussion between members of the Christian faith, the Jewish faith, and the Muslim faith. Faith leaders from these Abrahamic traditions meet semi-regularly to discuss issues of faith, theology, and daily living from the perspective of their own faith tradition.
Because of the global scope of the COVID-19 pandemic and growing public awareness of subtle and obvious discrimination on the basis of race, culture, and religion, all faiths have been forced to undertake a variety of new challenges and transformations in order to flourish.
The Spring discussion of the Abrahamic Faiths Forum will be March 11. Join us on Zoom as we discuss “A Threefold Cord: Belief, Prayer, and Good Works in the New Normal.”
