Youth Director Amanda McDonald received this cross from her previous church in Pine Bluff. It was created by James Hayes, a glass artist in Pine Bluff.

Amanda, a native of Springdale and U of A graduate, preached at First Presbyterian Church in Pine Bluff and provided support services. The glass cross was given to her by the congregation there in gratitude.

The cross is the central Christian symbol representing Jesus’s sacrifice and service to humanity. The cross thus carries a powerful message of selfless service.

Amanda is pursuing her Doctor of Divinity at University of Dubuque Theological Seminary and serving First United Presbyterian Church in ministry to youth and young adults. We appreciate her loving service with us!
